The panel array is 132% of the inverter rating, which is the standard way to size a system in Australia: panels rarely run at their full rating, so oversizing keeps the inverter working near capacity for more of the day and it is within the 133% allowed for the solar rebate.

On the Mid North Coast a well sited system averages about 4 kWh per kilowatt per day across the year. For this package that is roughly 26 to 28 kWh a day, or around 9,900 kWh a year, with more in summer and less in winter. A north facing roof does best, but east and west facing arrays still perform well here and can spread production across the morning and afternoon.
