Solar Installation Kew

Kew sits back from the water in the Camden Haven, close enough to catch salt on the breeze and far enough inland to hold the summer humidity. Both of those matter when we choose mounting hardware and decide where the inverter goes.

Power bills at Kew follow a pattern we see right across the Camden Haven. Air conditioning runs hard through the humid months, hot water and pumps run overnight, and the roof sits idle for most of the afternoon once the household has gone out. Sizing the array to that curve, then storing what is left over, is what turns solar from a modest saving into a genuinely lower bill.

Our team has been installing solar for over 20 years and has completed more than 5,000 systems. The area is a short run from Port Macquarie, so site assessments, installs and any follow up work all happen without a wait. Everything is done by our own licensed staff, and the Essential Energy connection paperwork is handled at our end.

Panel brands we fit include Trina, Jinko, REC and Australian made Tindo. Inverters come from Fronius, Sungrow, GoodWe, Sigenergy and SMA, and batteries from Sigenergy, Sungrow, BYD and GoodWe. Older arrays on rooftops here can often take storage without replacing the panels.

Housing around Kew ranges from older weatherboard and fibro cottages to newer brick homes on larger blocks, with rural properties spread through the country behind them. Roof material, pitch and the shade thrown by tall gums all change the design, so we walk the property and check the switchboard before quoting anything. Where the roof faces the wrong way, splitting the array across two faces usually gets more out of the day than a single north facing run.

Rural blocks in the area bring their own issues. Long overhead runs between the meter and the sheds cost voltage, water pumps draw hard at odd hours, and supply can be less reliable at the end of a spur line. Battery storage and a properly specified inverter deal with all three.

These are the system sizes we fit most often on homes here. Each one is designed and installed by our own crew, and any of them can take a battery.
